TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES

Give It Time

Society has developed a taste for the thunderous antics of Fast Film. But the classics stake their success in the build-up just as much as the payoff. With an almost hypnotic pace, TCM helps us to relinquish control as it draws us into slower, more deliberate experiences.

Get Onboard

This NYC subway takeover brings us back to the early 20th century. Transparent 4K screens on the windows show old, black and white footage to slow down the rider’s experience.

To Be Continued

To demonstrate just how much these classics are in contrast with the speed at awhich our thumbs scroll, TCM is filling digital ad space with the slowest moments of old movie scenes, showing us the unhurried lives they live.

A Change of Scene

TCM is creating DOOH billboards that put you inside of classic, slow movie scenes as you speed down busy city streets—a reminder to live in the moment for a change.

The Slow Menu

The fast food industry is perhaps the number one culprit of encouraging fast living. So, TCM is halting drive thru lines at the original 1950s McDonald’s from Downey, CA and offering 15¢ cent meals for people who sit down and actually enjoy their food.
