THE BEAUTY’S IN THE TASTE

TOOTSIE ROLL

Cosmetic standards account for around 40% of total food waste. The Tootsie Roll’s best asset isn’t its cosmetics but its taste. That’s why it’s perfectly poised to stand up for the true beauty of food—what’s on the inside—because ugly food deserves to be eaten, too.

Hot On The Press

Tootsie Roll is hijacking the cover of People Magazine to subvert our attention from external beauty to what’s on the inside. Plus, read a special column on food waste courtesy of Tootsie.

UNSLIGHTLY DELIGHTS

To spread awareness about our society’s unnecessary food waste, Tootsie Roll steals the show on Final Table. This episode hosted by Tootsie will require world renowned chefs to prepare decadent dishes using visually unappealing foods like brown bananas, prunes, and, of course, Tootsie Rolls.

Public Nudity

To publicly embrace its external flaws, Tootsie Roll is changing its packaging to be completely clear. We’ve got nothing to hide.

Crocodile Tootsie

Crocs sparked the counterculture fashion trend of finding beauty in ugly things, but the effect hasn’t quite made its way to food. To bridge the gap between unbeautiful fashion and unbeautiful food, Tootsie and Crocs are joining forces to add new deliciously comfortable footwear to their line.
